Took a break from blogging for a bit to concentrate on a few Christmas projects.

The most important one was to make my granddaughter's Christmas stocking. Although, I really wanted to make it out of velvet, my sewing machine fought me all the way and the lining kept shifting, so after 3 attempts, I made it out of red felt and used Papertrey Ink dies and buttons to embellish it.

  2. Ah, that is wonderful. I still cherish the stocking my Mom did for me when I was born.

  5. I feel your sewing pain! Fought with the tension and jamming machine making wise man costume! It would have been faster to sew by hand! LOL! The stocking turned out FABULOUS...even if you did have to change to felt! Happy Holidays!
