I know it's a tad early, but this week's Mid-Week Throwdown Challenge on OWH was to create a Thanksgiving card. Totally cased this design from Skipping Stones Design!
And, since I'm on a roll with my layouts, here is one I did yesterday:
Having just finished Jason Wright's "The Seventeen Second Miracle", I needed a new book. The only 2 books remaining in my unread book stack unfortunately are Christmas-themed books. So I am reading Kate Jacobs "Knit the Season"; I've enjoyed the previous two in this series.
Very nice! Thanks for playing in our challenge at Operation Write Home!
ReplyDeleteHi Jayne! Very pretty Thanksgiving cards! Love that DP and the way you punched all the corners. TFS!
ReplyDeleteI also love your cards! They make me think of nothing but Thanksgiving and all I am thankful for. Your layout is wonderful this one I may have to scrap lift ;-) if you don't mind?
ReplyDeleteGreat Thanksgiving cards for the OWH Mid Week Throwdown! I like the way you notched the borders. Very nice example of a clean and simple card design, I may have to CASE this!
ReplyDeleteGettin' a good jump on Thanksgiving there! Cute cards!
ReplyDeleteHey - I have that book. Haven't yet read it, though. Read the first one so far, and have the second and third to read yet.
Pretty cards, nice fall colours.
ReplyDeleteYour layout is adorable, she is such a sweetie.
I enjoy a craft related novel every once in awhile, let me know what you think of this one.
Love your cards! Those notched corners are great!
ReplyDeleteYes, love those notched corners and the twine too.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely!
ReplyDeletePretty cards. :)
